mirrors.

our mirrows are those minico type that screw down on the car mirrors rim.

We bought them because at the time we had a vectra for towing.

Never been happy with the nearside mirrors set up, but put up with it,but as we are going on the continent, the nearside mirror become even more important.

Have read about flat and convex mirrors, i believe mine are flat,so was wondering how these convex ones work, are they for nearside or outside or just for eachs preference.... cheers

Because the outside rear view mirror on the passenger side is much further away from the driver, the field of view is a lot smaller than on the driver's side. The convex mirror aims to compensate this disadvantage by increasing the field of view again. It is recommended to have a convex mirror on the passenger side and a flat one on the driver's side.
