Hi all
I have a 2005 elddis odyssey 534 with one of the mixer taps is leaking. I have successfully removed the tap, but can't see how to repair, I assumed I could change the cartridge. Annot see a model number etc on the tap/tails. Cam anyone tell me whether this is possible? I have attached images have removed elements of the tap, but not sure what is next or do I have to buy a new tap? Any advice much appreciated.

To dismantle the Trend E tap you will need to remove the red/blue inserts on the end of the handle and undo the screw that is underneath ( NOTE on some Trend taps the handle itself will unscrew). Remove the casing and undo the large nut that secures the cartridge. You may achieve this with thin nosed pliers if a suitable socket spanner is not available. the cartridge can then be removed.

As above if like those on my Elddis the long handle on the tap head unscrews - then you partially release the grub screw with tiny allen key head revealed within. There is then the domed chromed head to unscrew then the large brass nut (I used a big adjustable to get mine out) then the cartridge lifts out. There is likely to be a code printed on the side of the cartridge, but those on ebay seem to be CT901 35mm diameter so you can check.

at £9.95! As I have the same in the three taps I keep a spare in the van too.

A get you by fix could be to replace the faulty tap and just switch on the caravans pump when you require water. That may get you by for your holiday.

Does this video help any? You may find the 'button' he refers to is the red/blue hot/cold symbol, although from the illustration it seems likely that the rod which is used to move the tap head unscrews revealing the grub screw within. Other than gaining access to the grub screw my tap is exactly the same inside. When replacing I use the merest smear of plumbers silicone grease both beneath the cartridge and around the threaded parts.

Otherwise as you have been able to unattach the tap could you not take that somewhere to get it fixed? Worth ringing a caravan outlet or a domestic plumber to see if they could help out? Should be a 5 minute job!
