Mobile caravan servicing

My Abbey will be three years old in April 2007 and I have always had it and other vans serviced at the dealer however this involves two two-way trips of a total of around 200 miles so about say £35 in fuel plus the cost of the service which is around £175 including moisture check.So as the warranty will finish when the van is three years old I am considering getting it serviced by a mobile unit.So the question is have any of you had any experience of mobile servicing ( good/bad) also idea of cost and any recommendations around North Warwickshire.

My family & friends have been using a mobile caravan service for 5 years now.We cannot praise him highly enough.I started using him after having my van serviced? at a "reputable" local dealership.It was clear to me that the towing head had not been greased..It turned out that my van had been serviced by the trainee whilst the senior engineer was fetching parts from one of their other branches!! The mobile service can be carried out at your property or storage.Who knows what goes on when you van is taken into a dealers.. The gentleman we use is based in Rugby. Don't know whether I can advertise his business on this forum?

Thanks Mike ,give it a try and give me the guys details no doubt the Mod will remove if not happy but problem seem to be if slagging of one of PCs customers or advertising your own business neither fit this case.

The man we use is John Neal mob No 07747864983. Percevere on this Number, eventually he will answer. As I say to everyone who I recommend him to don't phone this week and expect him to come next week especially in the New Year..

try john bayliss, solihull caravans near old arley, we have had our van serviced there for the last three years and no problems at all he is very honest not a rip off merchant and even gives a six month warranty on vans that you buy off him and a twelve month warranty against water ingress and this on a van that was built in 1988! phone 0167650056

John Bayliss is also the guy all the local dealers call in when they have a real problem or are overloaded with work. Well known in the area and very skilled
