Hi,

Best advice on Dongles is to check coverage and use which ever one covers the area you will be in,

If you have a look at the Network's Websites and enter the Post Code for the sites you will be staying on. It will give a good idea of available coverage.

Then work out how much internet you will want to use and for how long.

My advice is to give the Pocketsurfer a wide berth. I bought one last year and had nothing but trouble with it. It kept losing connection, even out in the open; the connection was routed through a server based in Canada and therefore made accessing British sites quite tricky and the speed was terrible. I used it for about 4 hours and never managed to connect to one site, not even the BBC for the weather forecast. It sounded fantastic in the advert but in practice was a nightmare to use. When the unit arrived it had a printed note included which stated: "Once this box is opened the unit cannot be returned". Fortunately I had bought it through Amazon UK and it was covered by their moneyback guarantee so I sent it back and got a full refund. My advice is to get a dongle or use McDonalds free wi-fi.
