I posted last night about a problem encountered in changing my username because someone else was also using same name. Although I soon managed to sort it out it seems there was some confusion caused by someone logging onand deliberately using existing members' usernames. This is the only forum I know of that asks for registration details and still allows duplicate usernames. Surely it could not be that difficult to install a filter system or whatever it is that others use to prevent duplication and in some cases abuse of the forum. I am sure that it would also save the moderators a bit of trouble in trying to sort out which are genuine postings and somone having a laugh at the expense of members.
