If it was all a big wind up I fell for it. I was aware that lots of false postings were being made by individuals claiming they had been selected but I must admit I took the original post to be genuine

Surley not, it would only be common courtesy to use the Mod2 nickname as explained in Mod1 announcement of 17 Oct
 
would they only need to post as MOD when they have somthing to say as a mod?

Any other time, the person is just another user and have their say the same as the rest of us
 
About what Graham? You dont see that many from His Moddyship 1. Theres only a need to post if its on official Forum business and as I believe His Moddyship 2 was there to cover for when 1 was away on holiday etc.
 
Mod2 will only be 'on duty' when Mod1 is not available. He/she would only post as Mod2 if there was need for an 'official' contribution.

Otherwise he/she will be logging on as a private user and contributing to threads as appropriate.

I am sure I have seen posts in the past by MOD2. In fact I remember someone who posted as the MOD by mistake (not a joke type post) while signed in as their normal name. That post is now not available or searchable. Interesting as originally I considered this member to be a kangarite. (apologies to **** for that)

This system seems to work, so there is no reason I can see to change it.

Speaking of recent posts, I am sure that when I logged on there was a post form "He who can't be named". I didn't go to the post straight away and later on I couldn't find it. Can our friendly Moderator tell us if Agnak is still trying to infiltrate?

He did reapear during his School Lunch break yesterday to ask if we all had a nice New Year and if we were missing him and Daventura.

The moddies were quickly on it tho' !!!

If only my car airfreshener was as efficient.
