Thinking of buying a new tow car and we are looking at a mondeo 2.0 tdci auto. We currently have the old shape mondeo and it tows really well, just wondering if anyone tows with an automatic and how they find it.

I have a 2.0 tdci auto but have only towed with it once so far, a total journey of about 200 miles. It towed very well and not appreciably any different to my previous manual 2.0 tdci. The only noticable difference was the lower mpg but that is to be expected with any automatic, solo or towing.
