mondeo,change or not change

present tug mondeo tdci 130 bhp,hatchback,first class in everyway,problem now is her that must be obeyed has got her mind set on new sterling caravan which 1360 unladen,fully laden 1575,about 6 percent over mondeos kerb weight,not very keen to change mondeo if it can be avoided,what do you think,

I guess if you use your van alot go for it if not i dont see the point, or maybe a compromise with the mrs is in order
