Moorview (Adults Only) Touring Park South Devon

Hi has anyone stayed on this adults only touring park please? We are thinking of trying an adults only and wondered if anyone could give us some feedback. It seems quite strict with lots of rules but this is probably a good thing as some campsites just don't seem to have any rules. Appreciate your reply's. Mandy

Hi Mandy,

We went to Moorview last summer for a week and we found the owners to be polite and helpful. The site is in a good location with nice views, and was quiet even though it was full. The pitches are mainly full service pitches which are reasonably priced, but you may need to take care on the approach roads if you have a wide van as they are narrow in places and the locals dont slow down, as we found out!

Hi, we went to Moorview for Easter and it was so quiet, it was brilliant, one of the caravanners already there said there's dog noise but we didn't notice any problems. Moorview is the perfect name for it as the views towards the moors are good.

As DJP said you have to be careful in the approaching lane to the site as we encountered a trailer tent and had trouble passing - wouldn't have made it with another van.

Lovely people, lovely site - even has internet access available.
