I have lost my mop and bucket, since I have been away on a working holiday my mop and bucket have a new owner, I feel really sad, not only this, but the new owner of the mop and bucket thinks it's too heavy to carry around site, so it has been replaced with a galvanised one.

So the original M & B stands alone locked away in a cupboard for my return not sure when this will be, now don't all burst into tears it's had a good run especially on this forum, remember!!!

Sad Liz

Sounds like Trigger's road brush in Only Fools And Horses. Same brush for over twenty years and it has only had five new brush heads and three new handles. Have you got the same sentimental feelings for the old mop and brush Liz? Have a word with the police perhaps they may find it for you as they have set quotas and delight in trivial crime at the expence of real problems. Mind you Liz how did you manage to loose such an item as I was under the impression that whilst on your site your word is law.

Hi Colin, Thankyou for your kind words, I know where it is locked away in a cupboard for my return whenever, if it had been stolen I think the police down here, would take a month to find us hehehe sorry police in Cornwall.

Even worse Colin I do not drive the golf buggy anymore, only on the rare occassion. So looks like no Bull Bars for me or the wide wheels which I was looking forward to. Liz

Liz how on earth have you let them take your mop and bucket and buggy off you? Surely this calls for some serious action. I am sure I can muster the troops on here to stand united with you for the return of two of your prized possessions. You must stand firm on this Liz and give it all you got.

Colin it's too late, the new owner of the mop and bucket are happy, and are doing a grand job, I will have to retire into the shop on site. It's just a shame the new owner could not get on with my mop and bucket and had to be replaced with galvanised. The owner of the site did not want to upset the system as I will only be here on site until the weekend, then I am off again to somerset. The new owner of the M&B cannot drive, so hence cannot drive the Golf Buggy.

But can he drive a mop???

Thought cris would have got involved on this one, where is he?

at one time he was replying to every post going, perhaps he is still locked in battle with Berty in some far flung distant corner of the globe.

Perhaps he was disguised as a friend of a friend, or a friend of a relatives second cousin stationed out in Borneo, who knows, just seems strange when I open up the forum not to see cris, cris cris cris cris cris on nearly every post, and no heated arguments, or has Berty sabotaged him? :)

Allan

Let's not be too quick to judge, because Brian dug up the crown jewels the other month. I found a diamond and sapphire ring in a packet of pringles the other week.

Would love to comment (tongue in cheek) but I monitored the punishment administered to Berty a few weeks back for daring to have a pop at cris, so as much as I would love to tell you all about the various items I have found on site, since we have been out and about this year (you would love the abandoned Rolls Royce we came across only a few months old, and so far belongs to no one, just phoning round now for prices for a tow bar.) but under the present climate, fear that we must not say to much just in case they re introduce corporal punishment.

Hi Allan & Gill, I better warn the new mop and bucket owners, to be on their guard for a disappearing mop and bucket.

I think Garry's is right he is watching t.v and watching to make sure the mop and bucket are locked away in the cupboard, after use. Of course he might be here, who knows??? Liz
