Morvich to Ullapool

Hi there,
From Morvich you can take the A890 up to Achnasheen.Parts of the road are single track,but there are plenty of passing places and the road is fine for towing a 'van.
At Achnasheen you can then take the A835 to Ullapool.
The scenery is out of this world.......we are hoping to go again in May.....when are you travelling?

When was that ever true?
The A87, A890, A832, A835 route via Achnasheen and Gorstan is fine, although typical Highland single track in places - frequent passing places usually with several in view to allow forward planning.

Hi Maureen,
We are holidaying in the Highlands for a whole month in June - our treat to ourselves to celebrate our retirement and the freedom it brings.
So many years we have been limited to going somewhere on a Friday and having to get back on the Sunday ready for work the next day.
Sorry we shall miss you.

Glad to hear the road to Achnasheen is ok for towing. That's the route we shall take from Morvich to Ullapool.

We did maureen's route last year. The whole point of a small move from Ullapool to Morvich is to soak up the scenery. It just takes your breath away.

Go via Achnasheen to Garve then North to Ullapool, the scenery is great and the road wont give you any problems.......But you will enjoy the scenery
