Motor Mover Problems

I have a Enduro Purpleline single-axle motor-mover, which is not working properly. The remote control seems to 'pair' OK with the unit, but will only communicate with it when it's held within literally 2" of the unit antenna in the front off-side bedbox. Clearly this isn't practical for moving the caravan, as I need to be outside guiding it.

Can anyone help????

Then get it fixed under warranty(guarantee), contact whoever you bought it from , but be prepared to have to send bits off to be tested(at your expense) unless they have changed their way of working recently.

If you had got a Powrtouch, one phone call would have had it all under control and an engineer out to you to fix it.

It is times like this when Powrtouch show the difference in movers.

We go away on Saturday, so no time. Not sure 'you should have bought a Powrtouch' is very helpful in our predicament, thanks.

You say 'recharged' the batteries in the handset?, assuming it's not a 9V battery, then new ordinary batteries such as AA are 1.5V, rechargeable ones are only 1.2V fully charged?

This could be an issue and a set of new Duracell's might get you out of trouble?

Also carefully check all handset battery connections, one poor contact will affect overall performance

I had a similar problem, contacted Enduro on their hot line, went through a few tests which they requested and they said it was the control box.

Replacement arrived in a few days........... very good service!!

Don't believe all the bad comments you hear about Enduro there's a lot of vested interest about.

Hi Jonathan. I too had a similar problem last year, and I agree with Reg about Purpleline after sales service.

I spoke to a lady called Kim who asked a few basic questions, and agreed that the control box was at fault.A replacement was sent by return of post.Problem solved, and well done Purpleline!

hi jonathan

i have a carver caravan mover which developed the same fault.

it would only work when the remote was within a few feet of the control box.

i had the units tested, and the relays inside the control box were failing.

i took the opertunity to upgrade to the soft start units, i think it cost me
