Hi

A passing problem with my Powertouch HD motor mover.

When we near the end of our 5 week trip to Croatia/Slovenia we stopped for 3 nights at Chateau Gandspette to take our deg to the vet.

The mover had worked fine all holiday and I used it to position the 'van on our pitch. I used the mover a lot because the pitch sloped in 2 directions and was hard to position satisfactorily.

When we had finished positioning the 'van I tried to disengage the motor mover rollers from the wheels using the electric actuator. I heard the motors whirring but the rollers failed to move away from the tyres!!?? After trying several more times the roller on the offside disengaged but the nearside one did not.

I tried to phone Powertouch but they were already closed for the evening. I left the roller engaged overnight planning to phone Powertouch the next morning. However in the morning when I tried to disengage the roller it disengaged correctly??!!!

We did not need to use the mover to leave the pitch and and I did not use it again until I used it to put the 'van onto our drive. The mover performed perfectly and the rollers disengaged as they should when we had finished.

I intend to discuss this with P/T technical support when I have a moment but I just wondered if anyone had any helpful suggestions/comments.

sounds like your battery was a bit flat after all that moving.and it disengaged the next day when the battery had recovered.
