A couple of months ago I read a review on motor movers in either PC mag or the Caravan Club magazine. Can anyone tell me which is was and which issue?

Anyone got any comments on the best type? I don't want the Big Foot hitchdrive sort.

Paul, Sorry hit the wrong key! Try again.

The article you are looking for is in the PCM issue July 2006 on pages 136 to 140.

I can personnaly recommend the Powrtouch if this is any help to you?

Regards Pop.

Thanks for all your comments - I always donate my PC back issues to the dentist so I'll pay him a visit and get the July issue back!

Hi Paul

We have the Reich motormover fitted to our Adria 532UP and it is fantastic. We had it fitted onto our Compass Amazon when we bought it in 2004 then when we changed vans in 2005 my husband took it off the compass and fitted it to the Adria. We would not be without it,great turning circle and very easy to use.Good luck with whatever you choose.

Paul,

One word of advice, always check the weight of whichever mover you are interested in and remember that this must come out of your personal weight allowance. My mover is the Powrtouch which weighs 30 kilos.

You should also check the ground clearance when fitted which can also be an issue in certain conditions.....
