You can run a check with Companies House to see if it is a genuine registered business.
Yes . See #26.
Much discussion has taken place regarding CRA 2015 and an Agent or Broker. An Agent can be many things but imo CRA2015 is still adequately wide enough to cover you. But it won’t give you financial recompense like say some of the schemes run by Travel Agents and Holiday Firms.
This article explains a lot more and hopefully endorses some of Ray’s and the Prof’s views.

Complicated ? Yes!
Would I buy using the proposed OP method? NO!!

I would think that Amazon & eBay could be regarded as brokers or agents. Unsure about Paypal?
Checking my bank statement things bought on Amazon show Amazon as the seller. PayPal shows but includes the name of the actual seller. EBay is similar.

That is because that as a broker you are paying them to give the money to the supplier after they have taken their cut.

With Amazon the item may have a 12 month warranty and if it breaks down in the first 30 days no problem and Amazon will simply refund your account once you have dropped off the goods. No issue there.

However after the 30 days and until the remainder of the warranty for the item, if you want to claim due to the goods having gone faulty, it can be extremely difficult. One of the reasons why we will not buy anything high value from Amazon even if the goods are £50 more expensive everywhere else.

Getting back to Buying a Motorhome from this dealer, Looking at the prices, I would be tempted , to buy one "As seen" due to the low price, my only stipulation might be an MOT. Use it for a few years and sell it on. Not everyone want to buy a pristine MH or caravan.

I see the attraction and temptation. The real concern is it sold with good Title?

There was a post on several forums from a man saying he was the son of the owner of the business which sells motor parts, if you google the firm this is what they say they are. The Suggestion is that the motorhome site is entirely fake and is jus using the forms name. I would be very wary, as the site looks to have the warning signs you would expect, and in no way pay anything until you have seen the vehicle and checked it out . To be honest I would just not deal with them until I had received more evidence as to them being legitimate.
I have no definite evidence either way so caution is the best advice I can give.

I did post the reply from the genuine owner of M&D Jordan Ltd, but it was removed.
