Why post in Technical? This has nothing to do with caravans.

Anyway why are you limiting to Motorola? There are several other manufacturers of Android phones, LG, Samsung and probability the biggest producer of Android HTC.

I have a HTC Wildsife and apart from the on-screen keyboard it's fine.

I work for Vodafone and whilst i have an andriod device myself i would say Iphone is better suited to the less technical.

Of course it has everything to do with caravans. How does SWMBO keep in touch wih all her mates when we are away? How else can she help me with my crosswords?

Do you object??

Hi,

I use an Android handset and it is ideal for caravaning,

Free Sat Nav APP gets you to site, Spirit Level APP gets you leveled up, Sat Finder APP gets your satellite set up, Then you can call, text, email, Facebook, surf net, twitter, message etc.

Thanks everyone for your help here.

Stephen ,

You fully appreciate what SWMBO will want to do with the phone!

I'm tending towards the Android for a number of reasons such as the Motorola which according to the Daily Telegraph has the best camera and apps thingies. Simple to use is also important.

I've also read that the Apple I Phone has had some reception issues, all way beyond me.

Cheers

I have an iPhone (as does SWMBO) and they are very easy to use. The main reason I went for an iPhone rather than an Android is that I have all my music on iPod and I now only have to carry one device.

The other huge bonus for me is the aftersales. If you have a warranty issue on an Apple product you can swap over in an apple store rather than having to send the item off.

Unless you are asking about a mobile phone built into a caravan, which you are not, it's not a caravan technical issue is it! It a general issue!
