Can anyone help after over wintering of our caravan Sterling 2006

we find that our fly screens have mould does anybody have any tips in how to clean them.

We are getting the same problem on our 2006 Compass, I think it is because the storage pitch does not get any sun so we have moved it.

We have also bought some mould spray but have not tried it yet.

Have also been advised it is easy to take the nets out and they can be washed in a machine as they are nylon - not sure about that one.

We will probably try the mould spray this weekend and will post back how we get on, we are going to try it with one person each side to prevent distorting the net.

Hi there

Wash by hand only. I used Cillit Bang on my fly net used a new spong then rinse off and dry of with old tea towel.

Ps Reason for new sponge you do not get those little bit of sponge coming of onto the fly net with a new one.

yes you can!!

the nets come out so easy and are easy to replace as well.

i washed ours and used glo brite, theyve came up looking like new, although dont know if mildew or mould would come out, totally
