Just been to inspect my 2004 Bailey Paegent Auvergne which has been parked since Nov to find spots of black mould appearing on some of the flyscreens, front blinds have been left open to allow natural sunlight any idea of how to remove this unwanted addition.

There is no other signs of damp appearing in the caravan.

Cheers.

Wayne I am sure I read about this on another forum

the van concerned went to the dealers and it turned out to be a fault in the material..

they were replaced free of charge.

Are we talking the same thing here I wonder ? The mold I am talking on my fly screens are from tiny splashes from the kitchen and bathroom sinks. The other blinds don't tend to be affected.

I would not have thought it was a warrenty job, just a cleaning one.But how has anybody else takled the job ?

Mould is a difficult problem. Its what sticks to the fabrics that goes mouldy, not the fabric itself going mouldy.

You can get it off if you are lucky but it may leave the mesh looking a bit grey.

Try the stuff that you spray on shower walls to to clean them and remove mould.

Works well on many fabrics, but do not leave it on for to long and wash off with lots of water.
