we stayed here a few years ago and are thinking about going in summer hols next year has anyone stayed here using the premium pitch is it worth the extra money we want a big pitch as we have a twin wheel
 
We also stayed at this site a few years ago and did pay the extra for a premium pitch, having a twin axle. I think it was only a few euros more and definitely worth it knowing that you have a decent size pitch reserved for you. Even if some sites know the size of your van, if it is busy you may have to squeeze onto a smaller pitch and not have the space to put up awning and spread out. I am sure that you also get 10 amp electricity but check.
 
Nice site, we liked it there very much, but a word of warning! DON'T have the duck and potato pie in the restaurant - it sounds lovely, but is rather like a quite stale Ginster's cornish pasty but made with duck! OH had it and was very disappointed, thinking it would be meaty and with lots of tasty gravy - it wasn't!!!
