Hi. My new Amara is due in April and the dealer has offered me a good deal on a Truma SE mover. Reading through old posts on this Forum, EVERYBODY seems to like POWRTOUCH. Reading the specifications I can't see very much difference in either of them. Does nobody like Truma or am I going to have a trauma with my truma? Henry.

Hi Henry. You've probably read the thread we started on movers a few weeks ago and know we've plumped for the Powrtouch 3 which is to be fitted in a couple of weeks. We have friends with a Truma SE mover who have had no problems whatsoever and highly recommend it but we found the cost to be prohibitive for us -

See other threads regarding movers. Perhaps you can do a price match with PowrTouch. I'm in favour of PowrTouch because of the many posts I've seen regarding their aftersales service. A part broke on my Truma and Truma couldn't supply it because they were stocktaking so I had to cancel a week at the Bognor C.C.

This was in July. What a time to close the factory at the height of the holiday season. Now you see why I would choose PowrTouch :O)

Hi again Henry.

The Powrtouch quote seems to be the full price quoted on their website but they will price match other manufacturers i.e. the Enduro mover which is presently only

As I've said, I don't have a PowrTouch but it gladdens me to hear so many positive comments about a British company and it's aftersales service. For that alone I'm prepared to sing their praises and wish them good luck. Theres so much negative publicity about British companies today and most of it deserved. I hope PowrTouch go from strength to strength.

Hi, I have a Truma soft start mover(one of their first soft start models with cross actuation bar included in price) which has been in use for the last three seasons. Reason for buying Truma at the time was price. Through ebay I had purchased and then resold a year later a jockey wheel mover at a profit of

When I had my Eriba I had a REICH caravan mover fitted by R & L Draper from Seven Oaks Kent. I then had it transfered to my new Sprite Alpine, a bit expensive but very reliable. Apart from the caravan it is the best bit of kit I have ever bought.

Hi Bigfoot

We went direct to Powrwheel and got them to pricematch the Enduro having researched on the internet for the lowest price. Please see my post from 3 Feb for details - we did all negotiation by e-mail and so far have found them to be a great company to deal with. They responded very positively and very quickly. The mover is being delivered on Wednesday and is to be fitted the following Wednesday.

Regards

Claire & Rob

PS Henry, no problem with your senior moment - just didn't want you thinking we'd got an even better deal! Happy with the deal we've struck though!
