Hi There

Could someone explain to a layman?

MPs if they commit crime ie fraud etc.

Why are the police not informed?

Why is he or she still an MP?

One rule for them and one rule for us? I just do not understand?

I am sorry to be so thick on this issue but I say again I do not understand.

I always thouht MPs where there to serve the people or have I got it wrong?

Best regards Steve

I was also under the impression that if you had a criminal record you could not stand for Parliament as a prospective MP. It would appear that one MP has managed to dodge that one as he was, I believe, convicted for criminal damage during the anti-apartite problems in the 1960/70s for damage to test match playing grounds.
