Would anyone be able to name a few ,second hand , fixed bed, four berth caravans with a MTPLM up to 1250 ,very new to caravanning ,as yet to buy one.

You can search on Caravanfinder website by MPTLM. Hit the advanced search button and scroll across the tabs to put in your requirements. They don’t cover every van for sale in the country but you will find some makes and models to explore further. Older Swift Alpine 4 for example

Bailey 460/4 but check rear floor from underneath for water damage. Adria Altea 430 <2011 1100kg. Likely to be more watertight but appliances may not be duel fuel, mine has electric only HW, gas only heating and no oven. Altea comes in few different layouts, get one with kitchen on bed side as it has bench extension that folds over bed.

Why the 'limit' of 1250kg? What are you using to tow - exact make, model, and year will help?
2021 Peugeot 5008 rated at 1200 kg that's why i put 1250 as i could transport a lot of gear in the car a opposed to the caravan.
Have a look at this page towing weights. It would be helpful if you gave the model, version, and engine type/size/fuel.
