Hi everyone.

Currently I have a 2004 Sterling Europa 500, we liked the layout of this van as it has a rear dinnette which converts into a double with a bunk above, this has a sliding wooden screen and allows us to seperate ourselves from our little boy after his bedroom.

Now thinking about upgrading I was hoping to find a twin axle van with a simalar layout idealy I would like:

There are only 3 of us. so why do i see so many 4,5 & 6 berth vans, do manufactures not realise that family sizes have decreased since reliable birth control.

would like to have the same seperate bedroom idea.

fixed beds do not seem to be a good idea in a family van, as when childrens bedtime is early what are you supposed to do put them on the fixed bed and then move them to the lounge berth later ???? or do you put them on the lounge berth and spend all evening watching tv in the fixed bed ????

would like twin axle for stability and the extra room it gives (towing is not a problem)

has anyone seen such a model, I have looked around dealers & manufacturers websites etc and cant.

Surely we cant be the only small family looking for this type of layout.

Hi, we have been looking at the lunar quasar 615, this is a 5 berth van, and there are 4 of us, however at the rear there is fixed bunks on one side and a small dinette on the other side which can be made into another single bed, we liked it because the children could use the bunks and the small table for drawing etc. The best thing is there is a rear wooden door that shuts this area off. We like the 2006 model also has a seperate shower. The van is twin axle and you can get some good second hand deals around. Hope this helps.
