He spent £850,000 legal fees to prove his privacy is sacrosanct.

His award was £60,000 for damages plus News of the World pay all his £850,000 legal fes.

How much was the newspapers legal fees.

This is an absolute mockery of the Judiciary in this country. If you cannot afford the Law you will always be guilty. Lucky Max, he could afford it.

Can someone please tell me why the solicitors and Barristers in the UK cost so much money, win or lose?????

A brain surgeon charges less.

Personally I think the Law is now beyond the pocket of the average person in the street. What a shame.
