Safely home after a restful and enjoyable week away in a bungalow, experience is one we will repeat as one mile from a beach which was perfect to take our dogs on every day for a walk., A real treat to get away and enjoy ourselves and now can look forward to Christmas, next break to celebrate our ruby anniversary in Lake District in February,

Sounds like you had a great time Beachball with the added bonus of a nearby beach for your furry friends.
Since we sold our caravan and towing vehicle 10 months ago(due to vandalism of the van),we too have been enjoying some breaks this year.
2 weeks at Paignton in a bungalow air bnb (it was our ruby wedding anniversary as well).
3 nights at Sidmouth to visit the donkey sanctuary where the wife is sponsering a donkey(Zena).
A midweek break before the school holidays at Haven site Burnham-on-Sea.
We loved all 3 holidays but having said that, miss our beloved caravan as well.
Hope you have a lovely time in the Lake District next year.

Nice area for a restful holiday. We use South Meadow which is very good for the caravan. My sister in law stays nearby in a converted pigeon tower which some people may have spotted. That is all stairs though and only for the physically fit.

South Meadows FSP imo is great value. Short walk to the farm shop bar restaurant, and the shops and pubs of Belford. The other site overlooking Holy Island , Beal Farm isn't FSP, a bit more expensive . South Meadows for us
