Hi I'm off to the Nec this year to buy a new van, what sort of deals can i expect with no van to trade in? looking at maybe a ace Jubilie.

Or are there no deals to be had anymore!

Cheers

Be careful if buying from a dealer far from your home, as you may find a long trip for any warranty work, "Good Deals" can be expensive if you have make a 350 mile round trip every time to have work done.

I did that, and its a pian in the bum. now we don't even bother. Just get the local mobile swift engineer to call. Thats cheaper in the longrun

I've got the Mobile engineer doing my servicing and warranty work in the morning. It's great, until I found him I had to do a 104 mile round trip. He'll be at the house at 8.30.

I'll keep you posted on the cost tomorrow.

Diane I think you are going off on a tangent regarding the wording of your posting regarding "..it being a pain in the bum...". I have never experienced that to date so cannot comment. hehehehe

Are you pleased with his work?
Yes Diane, excellent. After he's finished he goes over everything he's done with you to see if it's to your satisfaction. For our first service and warranty check we had to take it to Shrewsbury which was a pain in the reticulum and more expensive, so much better and easier now :O)

it is a pain. I am glad we found our guy. And he only lives in the next street.

Yes you can moth. Problem was when we took our Caravan to our local Abbey Dealer he was giveing preference to caravans that had been purchased from him. Waiting time for a service was 4months. So we looked in the yellow pages and found a mobile swift engineer, Brilliant! came 4days after first call. Fixed immiediate problem - no charge. And booked a service for 2 weeks later. Better than any dealer. his work is also Swift group endorsed and gauranteed.
