Nectar points

We collect the nectar points mainly when filling up at an Esso pump and occasionally buying from Sainsbury. One of their offers for earning more points came by email and that was linking your personal account card to the Nectar card. This means giving them all your banking details including card numbers, etc.

Thought about it for awhile but I am a bit paranoid about dishing out card and account numbers as we are not actually purchasing anything from Nectar. Decided against linking our bank account. Anyone else have the same offer?

We don’t link accounts. Our nectar account builds up and we just use it to offset the cost of a grocery shop at Sainsbury’s.

I do it similar like otherclive when the account builds up to 500 points on Ebay you get a voucher = £2.50 so if i am buying anything that comes off the price
