I live on the south coast in Hampshire but from time to time I work in central London (erg!) I want to stay in my caravan instead of awful, gross Travel Lodge type places.

Anyone know where I can pitch for about 4 weeks?

Much appreciated!

Bj, The C&CC site at Chersey would fit the bill. It is on the right side of London for you being just one junction away from the M3 junction on the M25.

There is a rail service direct to Waterloo within walking distance of the site.

Commons wood Caravan Club site Welwyn Garden City.

Alternatively the Lea valley park has a site at Sewardstone which is about a mile north of Chingford and easily accessible from junction 26 of the M25

Re-the reply about Alderstead Heath.

Max stay 21 days with 21 days break, also from the rules no workers allowed.Believe me its getting harder to use the van for work, this site can be virtually empty in Feb but they still seem to be able to batt you away, especially when they recognise you returning. They just say C.C Rules.also Amblery Fields m23 is even worse, the warden is a real pain.

Hi Bj

Stayed at the CC site - Wyatts Covert - in Denham (just off M25/M40) recently and there were quite a few workers vans on site. Open all year as well. 5 mins drive to station (25 mins to Marylebone station in central London).
