Need a Truma Remote Control

Getting the Avante ready for Yorkshire, I wanted to hitch up using the Truma Mover, but where is the remote control?????

Lost!....and so far it has not come to light, probably never will.

Had a look on Ebay, but there is no saving to be made on the supplier recommended by Truma.

Just wondered if someone on this forum might know of somewhere that I might be able to beat the £88 wanted for the Truma SE remote?

Regards.

Norman

Maybe they get put down on the A frame cover or left on the car roof. I have seen two on site roads - well crushed - which is why I carry mine on a lanyard around my neck. When I mentioned this before someone got the idea that I wore it all the time. Only while manouvering though, otherwise it lives in the pocket behind the drivers seat.

I have a lanyard waiting for the next one, pity I didn't think of that for the lost one!

Might have to pay up and look big!

Never heard from Wandahome.......luckily!

I had to have my Freelander looked at as the tailgate window was giving problems. The mechanic started his inspection and after a few minutes came through to me and said 'Do you have a caravan with a Truma mover on it'?

'How the hell can you tell that' I said?

'Because I've just found this'....he said holding the missing remote control.

'Come here and I will show you where it was'.

When I had hitched up, I had placed it on the spare wheel and it had rolled forward into a dead space inside the spare wheel.

Phew...so glad I did not splash the cash.....

Thanks for your assistance anyway.

Norman
