Should have said that there is a lot of different rates out there at the moment if you are buying through finance. These range between 7.5% to as little as 4.3%... .

If you are looking at a 6 berth, the New Bailey is the best buy at the moment..That is my opinion ofcourse!

Personally if its a Bailey anyone wants and I mean Bailey as thats all this dealer deals in.. I WOULD GO NO FURTHER THAN BARDSEA LEISURE IN ULVERSTON IN CUMBRIA. You don't need to haggle and there interest rates on any loan you may want to take out are ............WELL You ring them and you'll see what I mean!!....You won't do better! .......If you were travelling from a long distance to buy a caravan from them there are plenty of sites close at hand, or perhaps stay on their Leisure Site!.....I'll even give you there Number (01229 584712 ) and no I don't work for them but I will be buying my next Caravan from them in the nrxt few days

Kind Regards to you all.....

Hi Phill,

If your vehicle is suited to towing the extra weight go for the Elddis. I have a 2006 Superstorm and believe me it's one hell of a caravan. The Elddis build quality is fantastic, just look at this month's C.C. magazine review of the compass Rallye (same van different colour schemes)to confirm this. The Bailey Ranger is a nice van but just does not compare with a Superstorm on build quality, eqipment or layout.

When I bought my van I wanted 6 berths with end bedrooms, several vans supplied this layout but none could compete with the Superstorm. If you look at a lot of postings you will note that it is very high on a lot of peoples wish list as the van they aspire to owning. Go for it , you know it makes sense.

P.S. Drive a hard deal and you should get a healthy discount, I did with Mendip caravans.

regards

Steve

Phill - agree with the comments of Stephen.

You should stick with your original preference of the Crusader. On sites such as these you tend only to find reports from those who have problems - not the vast majority who are happy with their purchase.

I took delivery of a 2007 Superstorm at the beginning of the season and I am delighted with my purchase. True the Bailey is

the Lunar Quasar 615 is fantastic- the layout is great- comfortable and spacious. The build quality ia also far superior to any other caravan that i have owned! not only that but the MTPLM is only 1600kg, i would recommend this caravan to anyone

if you are looking for a 6 berth look no further than the new Bailey Ranger 600/6
I saw one of those at a local Bailey dealer a few weeks ago, nice van with an interesting layout, but I'm 6ft and the double bed is just too short, it needs to be another 2 or 3 inches longer.

Jo, we have a Quasar 615 and the MTPLM is 1500kg. Glad you are as happy with yours as we are - we love it. Denise
