New and saying hi

So we took the plunge and bought ourselves a German TEC caravan a few months back to tow with out Mercedes Vito van.
3 months and 5,000 towing miles later we definitely chose well. A 2.5 week, 3,000 mile round trip from our second home in Estonia through Latvia, Lithuania, Poland and Germany to an event in Sweden returning via the Arctic Circle and Finland proved the combination to be very capable. With temperatures varying from +15C to -15C and as much as 3โ€ of snow on the Swedish motorway, we had a stable and trouble free journey. Whether on hook-up or parked without services the caravan performed perfectly and certainly beats our usual hotel hopping.

Hi and welcome back , that there's one hell of a trip to test your van out and I'm glad to hear that it went alright , most would normally just go few miles to a local site to test it but you's..... 35oo miles !
& you enjoyed it . That's the main bit .
No stopping you's now ! B)

Yes an epic trip, welcome to the forum, sounds like you probably ๐Ÿ˜› do not need to much help.

Hi and welcome to the forum. Perhaps you should write your up first trip and send it to Practical Caravan magazine as a letter. Add a photo and you may well win a couple of Milencos.
