new ferry from scotland

Hi, to all. I recieved an email today from Norfolk Line. As the crossing is twenty hours cabins are compulsory and are included in there pricing, this is for a standard car towing a bailey twin axle caravan. It came out a jaw dropping £760 !!

If I drive to Dover (550mls at 24 mpg =£103.12) plus Norfolk Line return fare to Dunkirk of £92 total cost £298.25 !!

A saving of £461.75 !! So sod the carbon footprint, onwhat I can save dring south will almost pay for our three weeks abroad.
