Hi all, anyone out there tow a twin axle caravan with the new Sorento KX3?
I am looking for any feedback on the car, preferably the Auto model.
How does it tow? does it cope well with a twin axle? what is fuel consumption like?

Thank you for any replies.

Andrew.

I think more of an issue about weight of the van than whether it's a twin axle. For my twin axle it was certainly over 85%

Hi
I tow with a 95 plate Sorento with a TA... i would not dream of towing my van 1900 MTPLM with the new Sorento. the top of the range 2.2 Auto has a towball weight of only 80kg and a kerb weight of 2008Kg.
that would mean me towing at 94% I don't think so.Kia have made a big mistake with the new sorento, not a patch on the old version

The old Sorento has turned into a real icon. A bruiser that can handle any weight of caravan legal on our roads. A high spec and good price.
I've noticed the second hand prices are very keen now and good secondhand ones are rare. We've had ours for 6 years from new and find it faultless.
We have looked at the new model at our dealerrs but the reduced weight means we will stick with old faithful.
