Hiya everyone

Have only just found this site after spending ages trying to find waays to contact other caravanners.

Having not long lost my husband I now belong to the band of single caravanners. I own a 2000 Bailey Ranger 5 berth towed by a Landrover Defender 90 and even though have only been caravanning for a couple of years have really enjoyed it. Bit nervous about caravanning on my own though so any hints or advice would be gratefully recieved. Belong to the Caravan Club so up to now have only used their sites, which I have always found excellent. Hope to hear from some of you soon

Hi Sharon, sorry you are on your own. The caravan club has a system where you display a small sign in you window - 'Happy to accept help'. It is designed for those members who have someone disabled in the party but I am sure you could use it. My husband had a stroke 2 years ago and although he is mobile, independantly, sometimes it is nice to have a bit of help, especially when setting up and packing.

We have only been in the club for one year and so far have been impressed by the sites we have visited.

Hope you continue to enjoy caravanning and I am sure you will make lots of friends. I am assured caravanners are a friendly bunch !!!
