Hi everyone

I have posted comments on your site, and even answered some of the topics (hope you found them useful).

I appologise for not saying Hello before now, but I have been enjoying all the topics in the Forum.

My Husband, daughter 15, son 10 and I have been caravaning now for 3 years and we thoroughly enjoy ourselves.

We try and go away at least every 3rd week though the summer holidays and we have two weeks main holidays.

We live in South Wales and so far we have seen,Blackpool,North Wales,Tenby,Burnham-on-Sea,Brean,Dorest,Dawlish and the Isle of Wight.Booked for the next couple of weeks are Lake District in Cumbria and St.Ives.

We have an Elddis Typhoon GT 1994 but are looking at a new van this year, we drive a Peugeot 406 1800 Dual conversion car. When I say we I should correct myself it's I.I don't let hubby pull the van, he can drive when we arrive at our destination.LOL

Perhaps we should have a forum on women drivers or may be not, it may end in World War 3.

This is an excellant site for answering any questions on any topic.

Keep up the good work to the person who ever is overlooking the site.

Welcome Allyson, as you might have gathered, the Forum is "evolving" all the time, and as the song says "Things can only get better". So you're another caravaning family that uses their van frequently, we must be doing something wrong, apart from Bank and Summer Hols we don't get away much, and the strange thing is, we haven't got a good excuse!

Welcome to the forum Allyson. As you can see I am also from south Wales, not far from the local mental hospital in Bridgend. We are now begining to get a strong Welsh foothold on this forum and must not let those east of the boarder dictate to us. There is one contributer, Lord B. who has threatened to kill me if I set foot in Hereford. He claims there is still an ancient law whereby a Hereford person can kill a Welsh person on the High street of Hereford with an arrow. I think he has either feelings of grandure or senile dementure. Do not be drawn in to his offer of work on his estate. He boasts of his powers whilst either under the influence of Viagra or Horlicks. Serious he is a retired paramedic who appears to be a very friendly chap and with a great sense of humour.

I tend to look for the cheap sites on the internet, they are large organisations, but you don't have to go to the pub every night. We like to have a bottle in the van. We go to these because they have entertainment for the children along with indoor and outdoor pool.

We woundn't be able to go as many times as we do now,if I paid full price for the pitches.
