Hi all ,at the grand old age of 50 i have just bought a 2003 Bailey pageant loire and a Kia Sorento xse to tow it .This weekend i took the plunge for only the 2nd time of towing ever,with my wife and 2 kids and dog . After managing to not smash anything up we are now busy planning our next trip for a couple of weeks time ,once i have sold my soul to the devil to buy some fuel !!!!!! .I think we may become hooked on this caravan pastime as everyone we met on site was very friendly and helpful .

Welcome to the forum Graham and Alison.

We only started caravanning in October last year and are all totally hooked. Been away 5 times already and off to Brighton in a few weeks for our main fortnight break. We've got 3 kids and, as Claire works in a school, we are totally tied to school holidays so hope that caravanning will be an economical holiday choice. Your comment about fuel strikes a chord though!
