Hello, have any of you good people replaced their rooflights. I have a Swift Challenger 480s 1999 model.
A handle is broken on both of them. They are 40 c/m square and have flyscreens and blinds.
I have seen them on the internet at Caktanks .com at around £69.00 each.
Is it a big job and what type of seal would I need. Also how did you get the old ones out.?
Any advice would be appreciated.

Have a look at this site http://www.1carpc.co.uk/wcdr/mini-heki-install.htm

I used it as a guide and hopefully did aa successful job will find out this week when I get the damp report back with the completion of our yearly service. Not a hard job to undertake and if you can fit a mini heki light (same size) it will make alot of difference to the light in the van.

Trucker, after the great response I decided to go and buy the rooflights only to be told they will not be in stock for about three weeks, so have orderd them. CAK are the only company that have them complete with fly screen and roller blind. At least by then the weather should be better for doing the work.

Isnt it just like it, when you want something. Best have the weather good as you dont want any damp getting in the hole whilst doing the job.

Let us know how you get on mate.
