I think it's the latest version of the 2.2 engine, the very latest Santa-Fe's are having them, but don't know if they're out yet.

Delivers more power and torque than our 3 litre Sedona and is supposed to give around 40+ average m.p.g.

The 1,2,and 3 numbering is supposed to make it easier to understand the models e.g. 1 basic-3 top (TS) version.

best regards

i see what you mean now. its the same engine as the new santa fe's and the sorentos. the kerb weight is over 2100kg thats amazing. i had an 07 plate sedona and it was a bit thirsty. i do miss it tho. i do like the santa fe but the sedona was just so huge and comphy.

Yes, ours is on a 56 plate and we really love it but the new one is cheaper to run both on fuel and tax.

They've invited me for a test drive but I think i'll wait until they have ex. fleet cars like our present one, no way I'm paying 24 big ones for a TS.

I'd have to use a lot a fuel to make up the extra cost.
