New to Caravans

I am due to have major building work at my house where the roof will need to come off and I shall have to move out for a few weeks. Does anyone know if I can live in a caravan in my front garden whilst it goes on? Or do I need permission from the council?

As long as the Caravan is within the perimeter of your property, then there is no reason that you cannot live there, while the work is being carried out. Just let the neighbours know of your intentions, that way you will not cause any ill feeling,

Thanks for that Martin, now I will starting looking out for one. Needs to be quite large as housing two adults and three cats!
