Hello all.
This is something I should have joined quite a few years ago. I'm David and wife Helen and live in the West Midlands. We've been avid caravaners and reader of Practical Caravan, now for 6 years with our 3 girls 12 to 17 years. We currently have an Abbey Vogue 540 2006 and pull it with a Volvo XC90 D5 auto, after changing it last year from a troublesome VW Touran Sport 2.0 TDi (170bhp). We enjoy the quietness and get away from it all of touring, and love visiting Dorset, Devon and Somerset for family holidays. Dave...

WE also enjoy vsiting parts of Somerset and the south coast and there are many lovely places to stay within easy striking distance of our area around Worcestershire, Shropshire, Derbyshire etc and we will look forward to reading about your favourite places to stay.

Hi Dave, welcome to the forum, we are in Devon and enjoy the area's around Dorset And Somerset, but this year we are going further North, not quite sure yet but might go visit the sheep in Wales later in the year.
There are some knowledgable folk on here, if you get stuck just ask away. Enjoy
