New to the site

Hi All, I have been caravanning for 3 tears now - well 2yrs, as we can so far write this year off! Van is a 2014 Bailey Pegasus GT65 Verona, and tow car BMW X5 3.0d.
Uneventful so far, furthest travelled is
Oban, home is Cheshire East. We have a boat on Windermere so the Lakes is a regular venue. We were planning Isle of Wight this year, but that is next years trip.
Prior to the van we had a towable sailing cruiser, that served us for 27 year's, but the launch and recovery was getting too much as I approached 70yrs so that was replaced by the moored boat. My wife has cooled insofar as sailing is concerned hence the van purchase. Towing is just the same, but pitching is bliss compared to launching a bilge keeled sailing cruiser!!

We have stopped in the Lake Districts some great Adult sites for touring caravans but we mainly use Hardstanding Service Pitch .
We been to the Isle of Wight not with the caravan so enjoy
