Hi

From someone who has looked at a lot of vans over the past few weeks, but with no experience of any. I would suggest the Bailey Indiana or the new Virginia, both look quite well made and seem to be reasonable priced. The only problem with the Bailey we looked at is it will be Late October before delivery.

regards

Hi we had the same idea, but were unable to find a single axle with fixed bed and lined shower, I think the Bailey Indiana has a wallboard shower, and we ended up buying the Wyoming which is twin axle, but met our requirements, I have not seen one yet but the advert in July PC showed the new Senator Viginia and that has a circular plastic shower, with fixed island bed, the front seats look short, it wil always be a compromise on a single axle, hope this helps.

Hi, having owned a Swift built motorhome which had to have the shower tray replaced 3 times in 3 years because of cracking, which they refused to modify, a fully sealed moulding has got to be the answer. At least you should be able to use it which we never could.

got the Indiana,we just drt out the shower after use,a little water often goes under toilet if van is level so now we pitch a touch nose down and nearside high(only a touch)and most of the water goes out The wall boards seem fine but there is a six year damp guarantee ,would have preferred all plastic but baileys didnt consult me before building it

We are a little worried about possible water ingress in the wall boarded shower in our Adria Adiva 532up the shower shares the area with a bench thetford, I have put up two stick on hooks either side across the wall behind the toilet and hang a length of shower curtain across these to protect the wc area from water. It works well and the curtain is easy to hook over to one side after use without compromising the thetford.I'm sure there would be water getting into joins and seams with repeated use otherwise.I should add there is quite a deeply moulded shower tray.
