Have the cracking problems been sorted on the panals of new vans?

Still a problem on rear panels on Elddis according the Elddis Owners Facebook group. Also not covered by the water ingress warranty; so only warranted for a year. Or so they say.

Some later Swift group owners have reported cracks. 2016-17 ish and later. It’s not just the abs panels. . So difficult to know if later ones have been less affected. Time will tell.

Cracked sunroof on a swift caravan

We purchased a new Swift Corniche 3 months ago and 3 weeks ago the sunroof cracked.

Not the way I would want to do it but if the rear panel cracks then it is defective and the sheer number involved should give you a sound claim against the dealer. That may be more difficult with second hand ones, particularly if bought privately.

Looked at those at the Nec. Very nice. In fact the nicest 2 berth that we saw. How long will you have to wait?

Dealer had two of these two berths , almost just off the transport, wanted one for a display model, sold me the other one.

pick it up after they have fitted a motor mover. Pick it up later next week. Right place at the right time. send you a few pics when I have it.

Will pick van up Friday at 1.30 pm has a sort of sweet and sour thing. When I first looked at the van, had an idea to take the wife on short trips from the care home. but she died on the 21st Nov so ---------- so am a lone caravaner now. I have lost my-----------. we were married 50 years.

Sorry for your loss. My wife was discharged from hospital earlier this month after 5 weeks and almost visiting the Pearly gates.
