New year weather

Beautiful morning here in this wonderful part of our world, so Herself and I plus Skye the collie decided on a second walk, this time around around the two lakes a couple of mile up the road, instead of our regular walk in the forest. I loaded her electric buggy in the Morris Traveller, wrapped up warm and off we went. Unloaded the buggy, dog rushing around like she's never been out before, got halfway round the first lake and the sky opened! We were at the point of no return, so carried on around the small lake back to the car. We were soaked! Back home, dried off, cup of coffee, and the BL--DY SUN CAME OUT! It's georgeous again now! So I'm going to sit here and sulk!

What a friend you are emmerson to keep the rain clouds your side of the Black Mountains :O) Not a drop of rain so far today, (makes a change) sun out. Happy New Year to yourself and your good lady :O)

Thanks, mate. The sun is still shining! I'm tempted to have another go, but we might run out of dry clothes!

It reminds me off when we had our small cruiser on the Mon & Brec Canal. We set off from home in sunshine but by the time we got to Pandy the clouds in the distance looked ominous. By the time we got to Goytre Wharf it was raining. We loaded our belongings and off we set, mooring at Gilwern for fish and chips. We set off again to our favourite stopping place (excellent for fishing) at Llangattock. We were there for 4 days and it didn't stop raining, infact it was still raining when we returned to Goytre Wharf. All this time we could see the bright skies and the sun out over in the east :O( When we got home our neighbour asked us to let her know when we were going away again because we knew out to pick good weather, lmaoooo. She couldn't believe that we had had non stop rain over those 4 days.

Well at least the howling wind has stopped now.The rain has been lashing......and trying very hard to snow.....sky as black as night.....apart from that life is wonderful :O)

We're still ploughing our way through the Xmas left overs!!Chocolates are finished and now I am on to the fancy biscuits!!

No resolutions for me!!

Hi Maureen.

Happy New Year. We haven't got any chocolates left either. The cake's all gone too!!

Lucky you, sounds like you might get snow, that's so unfair.
