Hi

I am going to the caravan and motorhome show at Newark this weekend and wondered if it is a good place to buy a caravan for a good deal and few extras thrown in?

Not sure whether to go new or 2nd hand yet but thought it a good place to look and see the layouts that we want with a view if the deal is good then we may buy.

Any advice please?

I love caravan shows, lots to compare on one site. Two words of caution:
1. Just because it is a " show deal" don't assume it is the best deal. Local dealers are often prepared to negotiate. Do some homework before you go.
2. If you buy a van from a dealer that is a long way from you, this can be a pain if you need to take it back there for warranty work. Check this out before purchase.

Having said this, we bought a van at a show, did get a good deal and were jolly pleased with it.
