🙂 Hi all, Met the forum group at Wheathill Salop and thanks for all the advice. We have been tugging for a couple of decades, after VW campers and canvas. Currently pulling a Clubman with an 03 manual BMW 530dse. Brilliant towcar with self levelling back axle; if anyone considering one, happy to advice. After 37 years in the RN in air ops I have returned to my engineering roots to make and mend all sorts of mechanical things. Caravanning for me provides great 'thinking space' Other interests, cider making, DIY, motorcycling, and I am a member of the South West Inventors Club.

It's good to have a member of the SWIC on board. There 's lots of things that need inventing for our caravans and keeping them running well...
