Finally did it, after years of waiting to have enough savings, and the kids leaving home/old enough not to want to go with mum and dad anymore, we bought our first van. It's a swift corniche 17/3, 2002, and I will be towing with a mondeo 2.5 V6, yes I can hear you all screaming, car's to light for the van, fuel consumption, but I have plenty of experience towing trailers, and I am looking to change the mondeo for a freelander or discovery in the near future. So in a fortnight my wife our two dogs and I will be joining the ranks, and cant wait. Hopefully going to try sandringham for our first outing (not to far).
No doubt I will be on here again soon, asking questions thick and fast, so till then, happy holidays.
