Hi, I could do with some help, I have arrived on site late today and found my 12v system not working. I am on a hook up and everything 240 is working as per. I have nothing at all on the 12v side, no lights, no fridge (display will not come up) no water pump etc. I last used the van 10 days ago with no problems, I have checked everything I can think of fuses etc but nothing. I don't have my multi meter with me so cannot check for feeds etc. The voltage display is showing zero as if the battery is completely flat, I switch everything off in storage and would not expect a 2 yr old battery to go dead in 10 days of doing nothing.
Can anybody suggest anything?? I will ring my dealer workshop in the morning but would like to sort it before this. The van is a 2011 Lunar Quasar 544
thanks,

I can't speak for a Lunar but my last van was an Abbey and I had the same problem. I found that I had put something into the bed compartment at the rear of the battery box and had dislodged a fuse that was in the power line from the battery. All well after I connected it together but I had to tape it down with duct tape to make sure I did not disslodge it again.

Don't know about the Lunar, but my Elddis has a switch just inside the door, in the same module as the pump switch, which switches on/off all 12v to the van. Very easy to switch off the 12v while switching off the pump and not too easy to see. perhaps Lunar use the same switches ?

Could be the BCA PCB that controls the vans 12v, I changed one of these a couple of months ago that was corroded on the back, no 12v worked at all or it could just be a fuse.

Hi, thanks for your comments. Well I telephoned my dealers and they suggested that the charger was u/s, and advised to try and get the battery recharged which should help and last a couple of days enough to get through the week. The CC warden was willing to charge it for me, however they also recommended a local mobile engineer who carried out warranty work. I called him to come and check that it was the charger and not something simple, a quick check with a multi meter showed no charge to the battery and the battery itself only showing 3v. He stripped the system to check the charging unit itself and there was power in but nothing out, so a new charger is needed. Unfortunately he did not have one on the van, but he rigged up a small charger to get me through the week and asked that I leave it in reception when we leave and he would collect it back from there. I left it a couple of hours and everything was back on, and overnight the battery was topped up. Now we can finish our week away and the workshop is expecting us on our return.
