We’ve had a delivery of vegetables from farm that included a couple big nice avocados. We also had a bag of goodies from the church that included fresh coriander. So this morning I thought I’d rustle up some scrambled egg in toast with guacamole. Searching around for the coriander I couldn’t find it anywhere. So asking my wife of its whereabouts she sheepishly said “I let Ivy have it”. Now Ivy is the wife of Milo and they live with our daughter. As Milo today celebrates his birthday she also let him have some cabbage and the little gem lettuces, to go with his birthday cake.
If things get tough I’ve told the ladies in my life that I will pull out my old book by John Seymour on Self Sufficiency and I expect first refusal on the two Giant French Lops
