Non Delivery of Caravan Club Magazine.

I have just been on the Forum for the Caravan Channel and it appears that there may be a problem with the delivery of the CC magazine. The first digit of the address number is missing on some or all of the despatches. i.e No 11 may have been delivered to No. 1. There have been two replies and both only received thier magazines becaus neighbours delivered them, having had them wrongly delivered in the first place.

Any problems may be worth a telephone call to the the club. This was only posted today at 8-53am this morning.

If you are signed up for the CC Newsletter it gives all info on the delivery problem. Ours arrived 2 days ago no problem.

We have not received a copy since early December, so I am assuming from your postings that I should have received 2 further issues since then.

Think I will give the club a call. The people living in the house its likely to have been delivered to are not so neighbourly so I'm now a little concerned they have my personal details.

What personal details might they have - on our magazine there is only a label giving your name and address - and surely you don't mind your neighbours knowing that?

Ours arrived yesterday, with no number on the label - but our postman knows us anyway.

Ours arrived Monday with the single digit of our address missing, however, like Val A the postie knows us. I got an e-mail on 29 Jan from the CC advising of the problem and saying if we don't get it today to phone them. Henry.

I think I was one of the people who received the magazine in error, as our house is number 1 in our street. I came home from work on Moday and having seen the picture on the cover ripped it open assuming it was my C&CC magazine. Had a look in phone book and 192.com but cannot trace the correct house. I suppose I should knock at nuber 11,21,and 31 but feel a bit embarrassed about opening it without properly checking label. Hopefully the correct recipient will chase up and be sent a replacement. Anyway, that will teach him for joining the wrong club, nothing wrong with C&CC computer systems!!!!!!!!

If my magazine has been delivered as per the comments on here then yes I am concerned about that neighbour having my name & address details as there have been incidences in the road where people have been signed up for various things including loans and all fingers have pointed towards this particular property.

the cc club has issued emails giving the email address to reply to in the event that you do not receive the feb mag by feb 3rd, I have not received my copy sent email off with my name and club number received email confirming that are sending me another copy .

Sorry, but we live in a close where everyone knows everyone else, their name and address, their children's names, the name of their dog, their mother-in-law, and often what they're having for dinner - or perhaps sharing it with them, and we've got used to thinking that all neighbourhoods are the same.

February Caravan Club Magazine - Important Information

Dear Member

We are writing to let you know that we have experienced a problem with the mailing of the February Magazine which should be arriving with you over the next few days.

Some of the magazines have been incorrectly addressed and are missing the first digit of the house number. We know many of you have been receiving your magazine but we know for some of you it may take a day or two longer.

If you receive your magazine with the wrong address can we ask that you do not email or call us to report to us as we do hold the correct address for you but can we ask that if you receive a magazine for another member in your area can you please send the magazine back to us and we will ensure it gets to the right place.

Hi everybody, Further to my last input,my son-in-law works for a printing firm that prints the cc magazine, they have printed a further 5000 copies of the feb issue , still awaiting my copy to arrive.
